On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 3 p.m., we will commemorate the 83rd anniversary of the transport of Roma and Sinti from Ruzyně to the Auschwitz II-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp.

We share here the invitation of the Harvard University that invites you to a powerful conversation marking the launch of Dr. Margareta Matache’s new monograph, The Permanence of Anti-Roma Racism: (Un)uttered Sentences.

After the performance, the Prague Center for Romani Histories and the Committee for the Redress of the Roma Holocaust organised a discussion with Zdeněk Serinek and Rudolf Murka, who are relatives of Romani partisans from the Second World War.
